If this workbook is slightly too advanced for your child, please provide additional review with our Grade 1 Geometry and Measurement workbook. Topics covered in this book include counting and skip-counting to 100, comparing and ordering numbers, identifying, recognizing, naming, sorting, and comparing basic two- and three-dimensional shapes, using non-standard units to measure and compare concrete shapes, coins (penny, nickel, dime, quarter), and telling time (to the hour and a half hour).

This workbook is aligned to State Standards to ensure each child is learning appropriate material for their grade level. The book is appropriate for children who need extra review to master basic concepts, as well as children who are on or slightly ahead of their grade level. We have included a 3-star system to indicate basic level topics (one star), appropriate grade level topics (2 stars), and slightly advanced topics (3 stars).
